Acrylic vs. Ply

You might already know this, My Mother Mabel was first launched with a range of laser-cut acrylic jewels. That was a couple of years ago now. It suited the designs we wanted to achieve at the time but I missed the dirt in the creativity and that's why I wanted to pull right back and start a new range which is COMPLETELY hand-made. But I've always maintained a minor love affair with acrylic... only now we hand cut it! See for yourself:

We're very excited to annouce that my mother mabel is featured on the beautiful website http://www.modamuse.com/index.php?main_page=products_new . Jess and Nancy have created a mini mecca of beautiful design and we're extremely proud to be included in their line-up of Australian artists and designers! Take the time to have a look at their site, we promise you won't be disappointed!
Til next time...
